Butter Motion now has a free plan
Butter Motion now has a Free plan. It is the full plugin inside Premiere Pro with a monthly credit allowance, and you don't need a card to get it. You sign up with your email and start generating.
What you get on Free
- 50 credits every month. That is about 5 generations on Ultra, 7 on Flash, or 3 on Animation.
- Every quality tier. Flash, Ultra and Animation, 2D and 3D, the same models as on the paid plans.
- The full output. Transparent backgrounds, renders up to 4K, any frame rate and length the composer offers.
- Free controls. Change colours, text, fonts and timing on a finished generation without paying for a new one.
- No watermark. Rendering and dropping the clip on the timeline cost nothing on any plan.
Free credits don't roll over. The unused ones expire when next month's 50 arrive. If 50 is not enough in a busy month, buy a top-up pack: those credits never expire and work on Free too.
What Pro adds
Pro is $12 a month and gives you ten times the credits, 500 a month. Two more things change:
- The first AI edit of every generation is free. On Free, every edit costs 5 credits, the first one included.
- Cloud presets. Pro keeps 10 presets in your cloud library, Studio keeps 50. On Free, saving to the cloud is off.
Everything else is the same product. The full comparison is on the Plans page, and the prices in your currency are in the pricing section.
How to get it
- Open the pricing section and press Get Free.
- Enter your email. One Free plan per email, and disposable addresses are not accepted.
- Install the Butter Motion app, sign in, and the plugin appears in Premiere Pro.
If you already have an account without a subscription, Free is your base plan now. If you cancel Pro or Studio, you move to Free once the paid period ends, and the top-up credits you bought stay with you.
Requirements
