Ultra tier

Ultra is the default quality tier. The AI plans the scene carefully before it builds your animation, so it handles most prompts well, from everyday charts and titles to complex scenes. It is also the only tier where the 2D / 3D toggle can be set to 3D. It takes longer than Flash.

3D on Ultra

Switch the 2D / 3D toggle at the top right of the prompt field to 3D to get real depth and volume. 3D costs nothing extra: you pay the same 10 credits in 2D and in 3D.

Only the toggle turns 3D on. Writing "3D" in the prompt does not switch the scene to real 3D. See Quality tiers & 3D for the details.

What it's good at

Everyday motion graphics: animated charts, infographics, explainers, app feature callouts.
Complex scenes with many layers, moving parts and careful timing.
3D objects: a spinning logo, a rotating product, a coin, a scene with depth.
Clips where the result matters more than the wait.

Where it falls short

Simple titles and lower thirds: Flash often does them just as well, faster and cheaper.
Quick experiments: the longer planning slows down trial and error.
Hand-drawn, illustrated scenes. Use Animation for those.
