What is Butter Motion

Butter Motion is an Adobe Premiere Pro plugin that turns your prompt into animation. Motion graphics from one sentence, right in your editor: titles, lower thirds, charts, interfaces and whole illustrated scenes.

It's built for editors who need clean motion graphics fast but don't want to open After Effects or wrangle keyframes.

What you can make

With a transparent background (MOV, ProRes 4444) the clip lays straight over your footage. Up to 4K and 20 seconds, 10 on Animation.

How it works

  1. Open the Butter Motion panel in Premiere and type what you need in plain words, any language works. For example: "quarterly revenue bar chart, the last bar the tallest".
  2. Pick a tier: Flash for quick, simple graphics, Ultra for complex animation, infographics and 3D, Animation for an illustrated scene. The price is on the button before you click.
  3. Watch the live preview and drag the clip into your sequence.

Every generation can be customized. Colours, font, text, camera and almost any element of the video can be tuned without generating it again, for free. For a bigger change, describe it in words. On Pro and Studio the first AI edit of every generation is free.

Use the clips in client work, ads and monetized YouTube. No watermark, no extra license.

What's inside

Generating needs an internet connection. The render runs on your own computer, up to 4K, as many times as you like.

Pricing

The Pro plan gives you 500 credits a month. That's 70 generations on Flash, 50 on Ultra or 33 on Animation. Studio has four times as many, 2 000 a month. Customization and rendering are free, and on Pro and Studio the first AI edit of every generation is free too. To try it first, there's the Free plan: 50 credits every month, no card needed.
